Rush
Alpha Epsilon Pi is a social fraternity at Northwestern University.
Many people join fraternities simply to be a part of a smaller
community in college in order to make their experience more worth
while. However, joining AEPi means so much more. The commitment to
brotherhood between each member helps to build strong ties that last a
life time. This section of the Tau Delta website provides a general overview of rush as well as our schedule of events. We have also included a list of famous AEPi alumni and information for parents.

A Brotherhood Experience
Brotherhood in the Tau Delta Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Pi represents the strongest form of unity and friendship possible. While we share our own ambitions and passions, our goals in the fraternity are similar. We aim to set the standard in all we do. We provide opportunities for all of our brothers to grow, both inside and outside of the Jewish and Greek communities. The close friendships and inseparable bonds formed through AEPi distinguish us from any other organization at Northwestern. Our brotherhood is a result of working, studying, and living together, as well as enjoying unforgettable experiences with each other. To us, AEPi is not just a fraternity - it is our home. Look forward to brotherhood retreats, intramural sports, broomball, road trips, barbeques, our annual white water rafting weekend, and the AEPi International Convention.
A Social Experience
Having an active social life at Northwestern is the best way to unwind after studying for classes. From sorority exchanges to first class formals, the brothers of Tau Delta enjoy a variety of social endeavors that most Northwestern students can only dream of. After a long day of studying, what could be better than hanging out with your brothers and friends? And nothing will keep you more excited about school than looking forward to your next AEPi event. Look forward to date parties, sorority exchanges, a spring formal in downtown Chicago, themed parties, and all-Greek competitions.
A Jewish Experience
What exactly does it mean to be a Jewish fraternity? AEPi maintains a very open Jewish culture that allows each brother to determine the level of his own Jewish involvement and beliefs. Some enjoy being close to fellow Jews on a religious level, while others simply enjoy the unspoken bond that we feel within our brotherhood. The Jewish identities of our brothers are as diverse as our social interests. Many brothers grew up in a very non-religious atmosphere, and some have never attended Shabbat services. Still others grew up with parents who were Rabbis or Cantors. Despite these differences, we come together to participate in meaningful Jewish experiences. In addition, we are proud of our strong relationships with Hillel and Chabad at Northwestern.
