Dog Days is a week-long extravaganza of hot dog and soda sales dedicated to raising money for cancer research. It is the convergence of mustard and medicine, of relish and research, of hot dogs and hope. It's biotechnology on a bun! This year's event will take place May 7th through 11th.
All money goes to Sharsheret.
Sharsheret was founded in 2001 as the Jewish community's response to breast cancer. Sharsheret addresses breast cancer as a Jewish cause. Its mission is to create a community that addresses the specific needs of Jewish families facing breast cancer.
Since Sharsheret's founding in 2001, Sharsheret has responded to more than 19,000 breast cancer inquiries from men and women in 42 states, Israel and Canada, involved more than 1,000 peer supporters, and presented over 200 educational programs nationwide.
